The Reasons Why You Should Meal Plan

Hey girlfriend!

Let us not beat around the bush — by now you would know that I am a meal strategist. I help people like you with getting a healthy, balanced meal on the table fast!

Today, I will be sharing with you 3 reasons why you should meal plan for the week. More importantly, today I will be helping you to make a solid decision of whether you want to set yourself up for an easy week of nutritious meals or spend your time on other stuff. 😜

The thing is, meal planning is NOT suitable for everyone. That’s the truth.

I know of so many people who were only slightly interested in meal planning and wanted to have a balanced meal on the table each night… but they never got anywhere because they did not bother putting in enough effort and gave up along the way.

I don’t think many people understand that to achieve that delicious meal on the table during a busy week, a person has to first have the RIGHT REASONS and MOTIVATIONS so that their desire to not hit the drive-thru on the way home stands the test of time. That’s because it isn’t going to be easy to achieve!

After talking to dozens of my followers, I have distilled the 3 main reasons why anyone would want to get a balanced meal on the table each night. And it’s not what you imagine!

Let’s start with the fact that we are not 16 years old and drive-thru food is not what it used to be!  Most of it is flavorless, unless you call “old grease” a flavor.  If it doesn’t taste good, it’s not going to satisfy you and you’ll be looking for that carton of ice cream before you go to bed.

Next, drive-thru food is no longer cheap!  $8-$10 per person…especially for a family of 4…is ludicrous!  You could definitely buy some fabulous groceries and spare 20 minutes to throw a sheet pan meal in the oven.  Not to mention feeling better about yourself, knowing that you have done a good thing for you and your family.

Lastly, how much time have you spent in the line at Chick-fil-a???  OMG – it’s insane!!!  In the time you wait to pay your $40 and drive home (to eat the food that is now cold), you could have changed into your comfy clothes and had a hot meal to eat.

What about you? Do any of these reasons resonate with you?
I want you to get real clear on your reason(s) behind why you want to have a balanced meal on the table each night.

Let us not talk about superficial reasons. I want you to dig deep to truly figure out why you want to have a delicious meal on the table during the week.

You may realize at the end of the day that meal planning isn’t for you, and that’s okay. But if you realize that meal planning may be something you are interested in, I’m here to walk this journey with you!

So let me know… what’s your personal WHY for wanting to be the hero putting that nutritious meal on the table for your family? Why are YOU interested in meal planning? Why would YOU like to achieve success in the kitchen on a weeknight?

As always, I’m rooting for you in your health and fitness journey!

CHEERS! xoxo
