I love a sweet and savory marinade – if you do too, you will LOVE this one. I usually marinate the salmon in the morning, so it is super flavorful to cook for dinner. You can grill the salmon on a cedar plank or bake in the oven for an easy weeknight dinner (bake @ 425 degrees for about 20 minutes). ENJOY!
Measurements are for 1-2 lbs. salmon.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients and pour over salmon.
- Marinate for 4 hours or longer before cooking.
