SHEET PAN SAUSAGE

If you’re looking for an easy dinner that’s so fast, this is the meal for you. Takes about 10 minutes to prep and 20 minutes to bake.  And clean-up is a snap…just throw away the parchment paper…DONE!  This will be your GO-TO meal for busy weeknights!

Yields 2 servings

Ingredients:

  • 4 beer brats or sausages of your choice
  • Broccoli florets
  • 1 orange bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1/4 red onion (chopped)
  • 2 slices of bacon (cut into 1 inch squares)
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss veggies with the olive oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Spread veggies onto the baking sheet, creating space for the sausages in the center or one side of the pan.
  4. Lay bacon squares on top of the veggies spaced evenly around the pan.
  5. Using a knife or fork, pierce the skin of the sausages 3 times and add them to the pan.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes.

(We like to drizzle Balsamic Glaze on the sausage when it comes out of the oven – linked below if you want to try it for yourself.)
