It’s no secret that I love french fries!!! I have found a healthy way to make them at home and it’s super easy. Gone are the days of heating up that Fry Daddy grease!! ENJOY!
Yields 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 medium russet potatoes
- salt & pepper
- avocado oil spray
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Peel potatoes, if desired or scrub skins clean. Then cut into medium size fries. (I use a food processor with the french fry blade – linked below.)
- In a bowl, spritz fries with oil spray and toss with salt & pepper to taste
- Spread them out on baking sheet, making sure they are in a single layer.
- Bake for 18 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Using a spatula, carefully flip all the fries over. (It doesn’t have to be perfect, just try to flip most of them.)
- Bake for another 18-20 minutes or until they are cooked to your liking.
