If you’re looking for an easy fish dish to add to your meal plan, this is it! It’s so versatile – pair it with any veggie side, pasta, potatoes, whichever you like! Simple ingredients and no master chef skills are required. ENJOY!
Yields 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 3/4 lb. halibut filet, skinned
- juice of 1/2 lemon (about 1 tablespoon)
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons shredded parmesan cheese
- salt & pepper
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray a baking dish with non-stick spray.
- Sprinkle the skinned side of the filet with salt & pepper. Place skinned side down on the baking sheet or dish.
- Pour lemon juice over the top of the filet.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- While that bakes, mix the mayo and parmesan in a small bowl until well combined.
- Remove fish from oven. Spread mayo mixture on top of the fish covering the entire top of the filet. It will melt down the sides as it finishes cooking.
- Top with cracked black pepper.
- Bake for 5 minutes or until fish is cooked to your liking.
